My Story

All aboard the Gus Bus! Hello all, my name is Gus and I’m a world traveler, fisherman, chef, and cereal entrepreneur. The best part of my story is not necessarily the fact that I am a chef and  get to do awesome stuff all the time through my line of work, but it’s also that I am animg_0413 entrepreneur. You, my loyal followers, will get to follow me through all of my successes and failures throughout the future of my career. I am from a city with a small town feel in Florida called Pensacola. This city is not anything like what most people imagine a Florida city to be, It may as well be deep in Alabama. An amazing part of being a chef and growing up in a town like this is that I grew up around all different types of incredible foods. The Alabama portion of Pensacola is wonderful because of the down home “southern cooking” that it inspires. As if that was not good enough there is also a great influence from New Orleans, which is rich with cajun food. If you want to talk about amazing food then I am all ears!

Cajun fusion, southern home cooking: Might be the most incredible influences you could possibly have on a chef! To top it all off, Pensacola is rich with some of the freshest, and most delicious seafood in the entire world. I will admit that I am a little biased, but if you don’t like cajun food, seafood, and/or southern cooking, well you can get out! This is my blog and I intend to tell you all about the amazing cooking, entrepreneur, and life journeys I come across.
